Today my roomate finally decided to clean the shower and when she lifted up the mat she found the underside to be completely covered with “black mold”. We cleaned it thouroughly with what we had, but I was wondering how harmful it might be to us.

My new bathroom has a horrible looking shower floor. It looks like it is extreemly dirty no matter how much I clean. I have resorting to finding a way to cover the floor with some sort of mat. I haven’t been able to find a mat big enough to cover the entire shower floor, and using multiple mats just looks cheap. Any suggestions?
